UNIT.City's IT infrastructure in Kyiv was damaged as a result of a nighttime strike by Russia
The UNIT.City innovation park and a residential complex were damaged as a result of a Russian attack on Kyiv overnight.
This was reported by Roman Lansky, co-founder and CEO of the IT company Strimco.
“Tonight has been a difficult one for us—our residential complex and the street in general have been severely damaged; there are many wounded and some fatalities,” he wrote in his post.
He also urged Ukrainians to acquire or refresh their first-aid skills so they can be prepared to provide assistance in similar situations.
UNIT.City is Ukraine’s largest innovation and technology park, located in Kyiv on the site of the former Kyiv Motorcycle Plant. It is often referred to as the Ukrainian equivalent of technology hubs like Silicon Valley. The park officially opened in 2017.
The UNIT.City innovation park brings together startups, IT companies, R&D centers, and educational spaces to foster the development of an innovation ecosystem.
