Mass gatherings will be temporarily banned at certain locations in Kyiv
In Kyiv, mass gatherings in open areas and in buildings without shelters will be temporarily banned. The restrictions will apply to events where participants cannot quickly move to a safe location.
This was announced by the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
“Due to the deteriorating security situation in the capital, all entertainment and sports events in open areas and in buildings without shelters will be temporarily banned,” Klitschko said.
Prior to this, Kyiv had changed the traffic rules for bridges during alerts.
Earlier, Kyiv had already shortened the curfew starting September 10.
Kyiv has also adjusted the metro’s operating procedures during air threats.
At the same time, the curfew in the Kharkiv region will not be changed for now.
