A new bus route connecting the two banks of the river will be launched in Kyiv
Starting September 3, a temporary bus route No. 1-M will operate in the capital along the route “Palats Sportu — Lisova Metro Station.” It will duplicate the surface section of the “red” metro line and help ensure connectivity between the right and left banks during air raid alerts.
Route Map and Schedule
According to the municipal enterprise “Kyivpastrans,” 12 high-capacity buses will be deployed on the line during peak hours.
The route will run through the city center, Klovskyi Uzviz, Pechersk, Metro Bridge, and Brovarskyi Avenue to the terminal stop near the “Lisova” metro station and back.
The buses will follow this route:

Alternative Transportation
The municipal utility emphasizes that Route No. 1-M is a supplementary measure and does not fully replace metro service.
Passengers were also reminded that buses Nos. 21, 22, 51, 55, 73, 91, 101, 109, 110, 111, 112, 114, 115, and 118, as well as trolleybuses Nos. 29, 30, 31, 43, 47, and 50, are already running between the right and left banks.
