A body was found in Syrets Park in Kyiv

A body was discovered in Syretsky Park, located in the Shevchenkivskyi District of the capital, near the tracks of the Kyiv Children’s Railway. Emergency services and law enforcement agencies have been deployed to the scene. 

The area surrounding the site where the deceased was found was promptly cordoned off with caution tape to facilitate the investigation. Currently, several patrol police crews, an investigative team, and a mobile forensic laboratory are working at the scene. 

Specialists are working to identify the deceased and determine the preliminary causes and detailed circumstances of this tragedy. No official comments or press releases regarding this incident have been issued by the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv at this time.

This is according to eyewitness reports on social media, as reported by “Glavkom.”

A driver who opened fire in Svyatoshyn, Kyiv, has been detained.
