Law enforcement officials have identified the attacker, who was killed during a special operation in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.

According to the publication, the suspect is Dmytro Vasylchenkov, born in 1968. He was born in Moscow and held Ukrainian citizenship.

The man previously lived in Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast, and later in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv.

It is also known that all hostages were evacuated from the supermarket.
