A serious car accident involving two BMWs occurred in downtown Kyiv—one of the cars veered onto the sidewalk, demolished the outdoor terrace of a restaurant, and overturned.
The accident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Velyka Vasylkivska Street near the “Ukraine” Palace. According to preliminary reports, two BMWs collided.
After the collision, the cars veered off the road, damaging parking bollards, trees, and a road sign, while one of the vehicles plowed into an outdoor terrace.
A 36-year-old driver was injured in the accident—he was hospitalized in satisfactory condition. Law enforcement officials are investigating the circumstances and cause of the accident.
