Video: In Kyiv, parked cars blocked emergency responders' access to a building following an attack by Russia
In Kyiv’s Podilsky District, rescue workers were unable to reach a high-rise building in time after it caught fire following Russian shelling.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service. According to the agency, the path for emergency response vehicles was blocked by haphazardly parked cars near the building.
Rescuers emphasized that blocked access at a critical moment results in the loss of precious minutes that could cost human lives.
The State Emergency Service urged drivers and building owners not to block access routes for emergency vehicles and to ensure access to fire hydrants and manholes.
