Stepan Giga's children presented the last song the artist managed to record during his lifetime
The children of Stepan Giga, People's Artist of Ukraine, have released his final song, "Alone in the World," which the singer managed to record before his death.
Kvitoslava Giga and Stepan Giga Jr. completed work on the composition, bringing their father’s creative vision to life. Along with the release, they published archival footage showing the artist performing and recording the song.
“Today is a special day for our family. With great love and trepidation, we present to you our father’s song—“Alone in the World.” He managed to give it his voice, his emotions, and a piece of his soul, and we have only completed what was his vision,” the singer’s children noted.
According to them, fans of Stepan Giga’s work have been eagerly awaiting the premiere of this song for a long time. The family also thanked everyone who continues to listen to and remember his songs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reviewed a petition to award the title of Hero of Ukraine to People’s Artist Stepan Giga. The response noted that an online petition alone is not grounds for granting this title. The decision is made in accordance with established state procedures.
