Fender and Voluspa launch scented candle collection — Rolling Stone
Fender and Voluspa on September 17 unveiled the limited-edition Three Chord scented candle series, inspired by guitar themes. The collection includes three fragrances: Vanilla Voltage, Strawberry Rush and Midnight Leather. Each fragrance is available in a mini format for $24 and a full-size version for $52, Rolling Stone reports.
Fragrances and formats
The set of three mini candles, the Fender Three Chord Gift Set, costs $70. The publication notes that the mini versions can burn for up to 25 hours, while the full-size candles can burn for up to 55 hours.
Each candle features a guitar pick placed on the side, as well as the fragrance designation and the logos of both brands. According to the collection description, the design's six embossed facets symbolize six guitar strings.

Voluspa statement
Voluspa President and founder Troy Arntsen said that the company chooses partnerships that align with its values and enable product development. According to him, the collaboration with Fender is intended to help introduce music fans to Voluspa and offer the brand's existing audience a new product.
Arntsen also said that music and fragrances can change the mood and atmosphere of a space. According to him, while creating the collection, the brands sought to convey through fragrances the anticipation, energy and emotions of a live performance for the home environment.
Fender was founded in 1946, while Voluspa was founded in 1999. Fender has previously collaborated with, among others, Timex and LEGO, while Voluspa has released collaborations with Wicked and Anthropologie. The Three Chord collection is limited edition, so its availability may be limited.
