Oleg Skrypka talked about what his adult sons do
Oleg Skrypka, frontman of the band “Vopli Vidoplyasova,” spoke about his sons—21-year-old Roman and 19-year-old Ustym. The artist said that his older son is serving in the military, while his younger son is already supporting himself as an artist.
According to the musician, 21-year-old Roman is currently serving in the military. Skrypka noted that his son is already supporting himself.
“My older son is already earning his own living; he’s serving in the military, and his military service is still ongoing… By the way, he had a contract, which has expired, and he’s already coming back. But he’s earning his own living,” the musician said.
The artist’s younger son, 19-year-old Ustym, also no longer needs financial support from his parents.
According to Oleg Skrypka, the young man is involved in creative work and earns income from social media platforms.
“My younger son also earns his own living; he’s an artist. He makes money on YouTube and TikTok (—UNIAN). And he no longer needs any help,” said the leader of the band “Vopli Vidoplyasova.”
Oleg Skrypka has been married twice. His first wife was Marie Ribo, a Frenchwoman, with whom the musician lived for about seven years.
They met while Skrypka was living in France. However, after the artist decided to return to Ukraine, the relationship ended because Marie did not want to move from France.
After returning to Ukraine, Oleg Skrypka met Natalia Syd. They met in 1997 and officially registered their relationship around 2005.
Natalia is an actress by profession, but after the birth of their children, she focused on her family. At the same time, she continues to participate in her husband’s creative projects, notably working on the ethnic music stage at the “Kraina Mriy” festival.
Oleg and Natalia have four children: sons Roman and Ustym, and daughters Olesia and Zoryana.
According to published reports, Roman is 21, Ustym is 19, Olesia is 16, and Zoryana is 13.
Oleg Skrypka himself has previously said that he does not seek to impose his own path in life on his children and, from a certain age, allows them to make important decisions on their own.
