Goldenvoice in talks over possible BTS appearance at Coachella in 2027
Coachella organizer Goldenvoice is holding active talks about the possible participation of South Korean group BTS in the 2027 program. The Korea Herald reports, citing Hits Daily Double. The festival is scheduled for April 9–11 and 16–18 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
Possible lineup
According to Hits Daily Double, Tame Impala and Dua Lipa are being considered among the likely Coachella headliners. Fred again. may be invited for one of the major slots, while SZA, Oasis and Radiohead are also being discussed for prominent positions in the lineup.
Attention to BTS's potential appearance was drawn by Goldenvoice President and CEO Paul Tollett's visit to Seoul earlier this year. On March 21, he attended a full-group BTS concert at Gwanghwamun Square and, according to the outlet, watched the show alongside Hybe chairman Bang Si-hyuk.

BTS tour schedule
In January, discussions involving BTS, Goldenvoice, its parent company AEG Presents and Hybe were also reported. Information then emerged that Hybe could acquire a stake in Coachella as part of talks on granting AEG Presents promotional rights for the group's world tour. According to the Korea Herald, this agreement was not implemented, and the rival company Live Nation took over organizing the tour.
The announced schedule for BTS's “Arirang” world tour formally leaves room for an appearance at Coachella: the last confirmed tour date is March 16 in Bulacan, the Philippines, approximately three weeks before the festival's first weekend. The group is currently holding four sold-out concerts at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. After the North American leg of the tour, BTS are set to perform in Bogotá, Colombia, on October 2 and 3.
Coachella traditionally announces its lineup in September before the following year's festival. The Coachella 2026 lineup was presented on September 16, 2025, so the 2027 program may be announced later in September.
