Anamanaguchi releases single Yeah I Guess — The Verge
Anamanaguchi has released the new single Yeah I Guess, which continues the musical direction of its 2025 album Anyway. The Verge reported this.
From chiptune to indie rock
Anamanaguchi consists of Peter Berkman, James DeVito, Luke Silas and Ari Warnaar. The band was founded on forums in 2004 and is primarily known for chiptune music. The group’s tracks were featured, among other places, in the game Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game, released in 2010.
Anamanaguchi also collaborated with virtual singer Hatsune Miku. According to The Verge, this collaboration also made it into Fortnite.

The album Anyway marked the band’s move away from fast chiptune beats and dance-pop sound toward indie rock. The record was recorded in person at the home of the band American Football, and its sound included fuzz-effect guitars.
Tools for working with music
Luke Silas called Ableton Live Operator the tool he uses most often. According to him, it is simple and powerful and allows music ideas to be recorded quickly; sounds created with it often make it into the final versions of tracks.
Ari Warnaar considers built-in laptop microphones and mobile phone microphones to be underrated.
