Liepāja to broadcast opening of symphony orchestra’s 146th season — LSM English
In Liepāja, Latvia, Latvian Radio will broadcast live on Saturday evening the opening concert of the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra’s 146th season, LSM English reports.
The broadcast will be hosted directly from the Great Amber Concert Hall in Liepāja. The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 18:00.
Concert program
The program features Antonín Dvořák’s Cello Concerto in G minor, Op. 104.
Soloist Daniel Müller-Schott will perform the work with the Liepāja Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Guntis Kuzma.

The concert will also feature the premiere of Juris Karlsons’ work “Sunrise.”
The program also includes Arthur Honegger’s Third Symphony, known as the “Liturgical Symphony.”
