Hublot and Jeff Koons launch Balloon Dog watch — Channel NewsAsia
In Singapore, Hublot launched the limited-edition Classic Fusion Balloon Dog By Jeff Koons model, created together with American artist Jeff Koons. The watch’s design references his Balloon Dog sculpture. As Channel NewsAsia reports, the model is available in blue, red and silver.
Balloon Dog design
The 42 mm watch case has a three-dimensional shape that imitates the appearance of an inflatable figure. The blue and red versions are made of anodized aluminum, while the silver version is made of fully polished stainless steel.
The crown is designed in the shape of a balloon knot, while a rubber element on the left side of the case symbolizes the Balloon Dog’s tail. The H-shaped titanium screws, bezel and dial also feature rounded details. The applied hour markers on the dial are complemented by soft curves.

The seconds hand has a counterweight in the form of a miniature Balloon Dog, while the date window is positioned at the 3 o’clock mark. The red and blue versions are fitted with stitched leather straps with a metallic effect, while the silver version has a glossy polymer strap.
Movement and edition
Through the sapphire caseback, the HUB1710 automatic movement, created on the basis of the Zenith Elite 670, is visible. Its power reserve is 50 hours, and its frequency is 28,800 vibrations per hour. The tungsten automatic-winding rotor bearing the letter H is also designed in the aesthetic of an inflatable sculpture.
Each version will be released in an edition of 200 pieces. The watches will be supplied in a collector’s box with chrome trim and a relief image of Balloon Dog on the lid.
