Lightsum to release Doshite ahead of debut EP in Japan
South Korean K-pop girl group Lightsum will release the single Doshite in Japan on September 16. This will take place a week before the release of its debut Japanese EP Re:idol, scheduled for September 23. Cube Entertainment announced the upcoming pre-release to The Korea Herald.
EP’s lead track
Doshite will be the lead track of Lightsum’s debut Japanese release. The song conveys the emotional ups and downs associated with having a crush and combines this theme with cute dance moves. Lightsum consists of six members.

Festival and fan meetings
After the release of Re:idol, the group will visit Sapporo to take part in a music festival. After that, Lightsum will hold fan meetings in Sapporo, Tokyo and Osaka.
Documentary project
A documentary project about Lightsum’s preparations for its Japanese debut is being broadcast on the Japanese OTT platform Ameba.
