Blackpink’s Rosé to release New Trick, video shot on iPhone 18 Pro
In South Korea, Blackpink singer Rosé will release her new song New Trick on September 18. The video for the track will be part of Apple’s Shot on iPhone campaign and will use the iPhone 18 Pro, Korea Herald reports.
Collaboration with Apple
Rosé’s agency, The Black Label, announced the collaboration with Apple for the upcoming release on Thursday. The music video was directed by Dave Meyers, who also worked on Blackpink’s video for the song Jump.
Rosé posted a 15-second teaser on Instagram. In the clip, she holds a purple lollipop bearing the words new trick and Shot on iPhone 18 Pro.

Work on the song
In an interview with Vogue, the performer said that she wrote the song during a hectic week, about two days after the Met Gala in New York. According to her, the writers managed to create a track that is not sad, and she considers it possibly one of the sweetest works they have written together.
The full version of New Trick will be released on September 18 at 8:00 a.m. Korean time.
