Six members of NCT Dream have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment

Six members of the K-pop group NCT Dream have renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment. The label announced this in a statement, according to the Korea Herald.

Haechan signed a new contract last month—at the same time, members of NCT 127 also renewed their contracts with SM Entertainment. Renjun, Jeno, Jemin, Chenle, and Jisun have also signed new agreements with the company. SM Entertainment stated that the agreements were made based on deep mutual trust and unwavering commitment to the team.

NCT Dream debuted in August 2016. Over the past decade, the group has released five studio albums and six mini-albums. The group’s latest release—their sixth EP, “Beat It Up,” released in November—became their tenth consecutive album to sell over one million copies.

Each of NCT Dream’s first three full-length albums sold over 3 million copies in a single week. On the evening of August 24, the group members will host a live stream dedicated to the group’s tenth anniversary.
