A joint album by Moacir Luz and Gabriel Moura will be presented in Rio de Janeiro
On August 20, 2026, in Rio de Janeiro, composers Moacir Luz and Gabriel Moura will present their collaborative album “Moa + Moura” on stage at the Blue Note in the Copacabana neighborhood. According to The Rio Times, doors open at 7:00 p.m., and the concert begins at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices range from 60 to 120 Brazilian reais.
Blue Note is located at Avenida Atlântica 1910, on the waterfront. Luz is known for his weekly music project, Samba do Trabalhador. The venue offers table seating, so the publication recommends purchasing tickets in advance.
In the Lapa neighborhood that same evening, Rio Scenarium is offering admission at half the usual price. The venue at Rua do Lavradio, 20 features a program of samba, gafieira, and choro across three floors; admission starts at around 20 reais. A separate venue, Palco Dolores, is located at Rua do Lavradio, 10.
