Documentary About Elizabeth Holmes Secretly Screened in Telluride
A secret premiere of the documentary “You Can See Everything” about Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes took place at the Telluride Film Festival. According to TechCrunch, citing The Hollywood Reporter, the film was directed by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim.

On Sunday, viewers entered a 650-seat theater without knowing which film they would see. Their phones were locked before the screening, and organizers said only that the film runs for nearly three hours, had not been shown anywhere before, and that its principal creators would be present in the theater.
The film, according to the publication, follows Holmes and her husband Billy Evans over the 34 days before she reported to federal prison in May 2023. Holmes then began serving an 11-year prison sentence for misleading investors about Theranos blood-testing technology.

Legal cases and release
Holmes’s appeals seeking to overturn her conviction and reduce her prison term were rejected in February 2025. Last year, she also asked President Trump to commute her sentence; the petition still has pending status.
TechCrunch also reports that during filming, Fielder likely lived in the couple’s guest house. A24 plans to release “You Can See Everything” in October.
