Other Eni measures
On Monday, Eni introduced a 30-day price cap at its filling stations: no more than €2.19 per liter of diesel and €1.99 per liter of unleaded gasoline. Q8, SOCAR through the IP network, and Tamoil subsequently adopted a similar approach at filling stations in Italy.
Eni also, through its subsidiary Plenitude, offered a 30% discount on electricity and gas bills from October for customers who sign up for the offer by the 24th of the month. Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida thanked the company and expressed hope that other oil companies operating in Italy would follow this example.
