At the initiative of the Ministry of Energy, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution that changes the procedure for compiling lists of critical facilities for electricity distribution.
From now on, such lists will be compiled separately for the summer and winter periods, taking into account the seasonal characteristics of the power system’s operation and peak electricity consumption.
According to Shmyhal, the new approach will allow for more efficient planning of the distribution of available electricity, increase the amount of electricity available to residential consumers, ensure a more even distribution among regions, and enhance the stability of the Ukrainian power grid.
