The government has established a national reserve of mobile power generation in case of attacks
The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a mechanism for establishing and utilizing a national reserve of mobile power generation to support critical infrastructure during crises and Russian attacks.
This was reported by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development.
This involves a reserve of cogeneration units and equipment for autonomous heat and power supply, which can be quickly deployed wherever needed.
According to Minister of Community Development Oleksiy Kuleba, the decision outlines not only the procurement of equipment but also a clear procedure for its storage, maintenance, transportation, and use.
The document also provides for coordination between government agencies, communities, the Recovery Agency, and the state-owned enterprise “Critical Infrastructure Recovery.”
