Elon Musk plans SpaceX IPO by July to fund satellite launches

Billionaire Elon Musk intends to take SpaceX public by July this year, reports The Wall Street Journal. This significant move aims to raise substantial funds for launching thousands of satellites needed for orbital data centres.

The company has chosen an initial public offering (IPO) in the US as the simplest and most efficient way to attract tens of billions of dollars. The satellite network launch aims to expand the capabilities of global internet infrastructure.

SpaceX, founded by Elon Musk in 2002, is a leading aerospace company specializing in rocket technology and space flights. In recent years, it has been actively developing the Starlink satellite internet project.

The planned IPO reflects SpaceX’s ambitious goals in satellite technology and its desire to strengthen its position in the space services market.

The upcoming public listing is expected to significantly increase SpaceX’s financial resources, enabling the realisation of its large-scale projects.
