monobank may introduce a fee for transfers to cards issued by other banks
monobank may change the fee for transferring its own funds to cards issued by other banks in the Mastercard payment system. The current fee schedule already includes a 0.5% fee for such transactions.
Under the new terms, transfers of the customer’s own funds to cards issued by other banks in the Visa network will remain commission-free, while a 0.5% commission will apply to transfers to Mastercard cards.
According to the published fee schedule, the changes are set to take effect on October 18, 2026.
At the same time, monobank co-founder Oleg Gorokhovsky stated on Threads that no final decision has yet been made regarding this fee. According to him, even if it is introduced, it will definitely not happen on October 18.
Other fees remain unchanged: a 0.9% fee applies to transfers to NovaPay cards, and a 4% fee applies to transfers made using credit funds.
The change may apply specifically to transfers to cards issued by other banks, rather than to regular card payments in stores or online.
