In June 2026, the average gross salary of employees of Ukraine’s government agencies was 66,840 UAH, which is 7,000 UAH more than during the same period last year.
The Ministry of Finance noted that as of June, 165,600 people were employed in government agencies, of whom 108,600 worked in central government agencies, 23,000 in local government (military) administrations, and 34,000 in the judiciary.
The ministry explained that the seasonal increase in salaries is linked, in particular, to the payment of health benefits during vacations.
The Ministry of Finance also reported that the average judicial remuneration in higher courts in June ranged from 197,800 UAH to 446,700 UAH, while the average salary for staff of central-level judicial bodies was 71,460 UAH.
