Visa enables instant USDC payments across borders in new “breakthrough” test

Visa has launched a new pilot program that allows businesses to send payouts in stablecoins, starting with USDC. The initiative targets freelancers, creators, and gig workers, offering near-instant cross-border payments to compatible wallets.

According to Visa, the pilot builds on its ongoing work with Visa Direct and earlier stablecoin pre-funding initiatives, marking a step toward faster, crypto-integrated global money movement.
