Over the course of a week, the NBU sold nearly 1.4 billion dollars on the interbank market
Between June 15 and 19, the National Bank of Ukraine sold $1.396 billion on the interbank foreign exchange market. This is $241.3 million more than the previous week.
At the same time, the regulator did not purchase any currency during the reporting period. Since the beginning of 2026, the NBU has not once entered the interbank market to buy dollars.
The National Bank’s sale of foreign currency remains one of the key tools for maintaining the stability of the foreign exchange market and the hryvnia exchange rate.
