AMD rumored to raise GPU prices amid rising memory costs

According to a post on the Chinese Board Channels forum, AMD has informed its partners about a second price increase for its graphics cards due to rising memory procurement costs. While a minor adjustment was made in October without affecting retail prices, the next hike is expected to be more significant and apply across all models, though the exact implementation date remains unknown. DDR6 memory used in graphics cards has also seen a 30% price increase as manufacturers shift capacity toward server DDR6 and AI products.
