Antitrust authorities exposed and fined developers for collusion during a bidding process

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine has imposed fines on the companies “BK Deluxe Development” and “SMU7” for distorting the results of bidding while participating in tenders. The total amount of penalties for these developers exceeded 5.1 million UAH.

Specifically, the fine for BK Deluxe Development LLC is 3.75 million hryvnias, and for SMU7 LLC, it is 1.37 million hryvnias. 

In addition, for failing to submit or providing incorrect information upon the agency’s request, the regulator fined “SKF Trading House” LLC 141,360 UAH, Lun Ko LLC 105,500 hryvnias, and Barvinkove-Agro LLC 10,000 hryvnias. A fine of 120,190 UAH was also imposed on “Seb-Pharmacy” Private Enterprise for disseminating false information on the label of “Hunyadi János” mineral water.

This is evidenced by the decisions adopted following the AMCU meeting.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined De Trading LLC and Torgova Elektrichna Kompaniya LLC a total of 110 million hryvnias. The AMCU determined that the companies coordinated their actions during five tenders for the procurement of electricity. The expected value of these purchases exceeded 1.5 billion hryvnias.

The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine fined the companies “KranTechElektro,” “Port and Fleet,” and “TechMorPostach” a total of over 9 million hryvnias for anti-competitive collusion during government procurement.
