Where to Find the Cheapest Gasoline: A Survey of Gas Station Prices Across Ukraine's Regions
As of March 24, 2026, the average price of fuel across Ukraine’s regions varies significantly depending on logistics and distance from the borders.
According to data from the A-95 Consulting Group, the lowest price for the popular A-95 gasoline was recorded in the Sumy region, where a liter costs 70.64 UAH, while the highest prices are observed in the Donetsk region—74.98 UAH per liter. In the Kyiv region, the price of A-95 remains at 72.36 UAH, which corresponds to the national average.

The situation with diesel fuel and automotive gas is also uneven: the cheapest diesel fuel can be purchased in the Dnipropetrovsk region for 83.58 UAH/liter, while the most affordable gas is offered by gas stations in the Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia regions at a price starting from 45.24 UAH. The most expensive fuel is concentrated in frontline areas, particularly in the Donetsk region, where the price of diesel reaches 86.99 UAH, and autogas—nearly 50 UAH per liter. Experts note that network operators, such as Avias, may set individual prices at specific gas stations that differ from the weighted average.
Despite the risks of war and constant Russian attacks on energy infrastructure, the fuel market remains stable, meeting the needs of both the civilian sector and the planting season. The lowest price for A-92 gasoline is currently recorded in the Zaporizhzhia region (63.50 UAH), making this region the leader in terms of the affordability of low-octane fuel. At the same time, in the western regions, particularly in Lviv and Volyn, prices for premium A-95+ fuel have stabilized at 75.81–76.22 UAH per liter.
