Some suppliers have raised the price of gas for residential customers to over 30 hryvnia per cubic meter
In April 2026, some residential consumers will pay for natural gas at updated rates.
According to the publication GazPravda, there are currently eight companies operating in the market, four of which offer both annual and monthly plans. While annual rates have remained unchanged, monthly rates have increased by 6 UAH compared to March.

Annual rates, which serve as the baseline for residential customers, range from 7.96 to 9.99 UAH per cubic meter. Meanwhile, the cost of gas under monthly rate plans varies from 8.46 to 31.99 UAH per cubic meter. About 98 percent of residential consumers who are customers of Naftogaz of Ukraine will continue to pay a fixed price of 7.96 UAH per cubic meter, which will remain in effect until at least April 30, 2026.
The price increase will affect only a small portion of households that use the services of alternative suppliers under monthly contracts. In total, over 12 million families remain on preferential terms with the largest state-owned supplier. The market situation remains stable for the vast majority of Ukrainians thanks to the existing long-term commitments of energy companies.
Gas Supply Company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” LLC has announced an update to its bank details for natural gas payments. Consumers should take these changes into account when making payments to avoid errors. Instructions for paying for gas are available on the company’s official website.
