The State Property Fund of Ukraine has put up for sale a quarry that previously belonged to Deripaska
The State Property Fund of Ukraine has put up for online auction the state’s 100% stake in the authorized capital of Hlukhiv Quartzite Quarry LLC. The company specialized in the extraction and primary processing of quartzite for the metallurgical industry.
The assets also include 22 real estate properties, 60 items of property and equipment, as well as six leased land plots with a total area of 37.02 hectares. The total area of production, storage, and auxiliary facilities exceeds 9.1 thousand square meters.
The asset was forfeited to the state pursuant to a decision by the High Anti-Corruption Court dated February 16, 2023, which was subsequently partially overturned by the High Anti-Corruption Court’s Appeals Chamber. The company previously belonged to Russian businessman Oleg Deripaska.
The quarry mined the Banitske deposit, known for its high-purity quartzites with a silicon dioxide content exceeding 99%. This raw material is used in metallurgy, electrical engineering, and the automotive, aviation, medical, and military industries.
After the outbreak of full-scale war, mining operations at the enterprise were halted, and the machinery and equipment were mothballed. The new owner will be able to resume operations at the quarry and utilize its production potential.
The starting price for the lot is 98.64 million UAH, excluding VAT. The auction is scheduled for September 22, 2026.

The Court of Appeals upheld the appeal filed by the State Property Fund of Ukraine and overturned the ruling ordering a forensic examination in the bankruptcy case of OJSC “Scientific and Research Medical Association ‘Dialir.’” This court decision allowed for the resumption of the previously suspended proceedings and removed legal obstacles to the privatization of the company’s assets.
