Cyprus’ Keo to approve interim financial statements on September 22
The board of directors of Cypriot beverage company Keo plc will review and approve the unaudited condensed consolidated financial statements for the six-month period ended June 30 on September 22, 2026. The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m., Cyprus Mail reports.
Dividend payment
The meeting will take place after the completion of the interim dividend payment to shareholders, which the company announced on August 25. Keo had previously warned that technical problems with calculation software could delay the distribution of funds.
At the annual general meeting on July 8, shareholders approved dividends totaling €1.69 million, or 4 cents for each fully paid-up share. The payment was funded from 2024 profits accumulated in the revenue reserve. Investors entered in the Cyprus Stock Exchange register as of July 20 were entitled to the dividends; the ex-dividend trading date was July 17.

Plant project in Kato Polemidia
Separately, the company is advancing a €25 million beverage plant project in Kato Polemidia near Limassol. On August 27, it passed an environmental review: the environmental authority raised no objections to the project provided that specified requirements are met and decided that a full environmental assessment was not required.
Construction is expected to last approximately 24 months after the remaining permits are obtained. Up to 50 workers are planned to be employed during the construction phase. The complex will occupy 44,000 square metres of a 62,335-square-metre site, with 9,612 square metres designated for a green area.
Once operational, the facility will package juices, filter wines, distill alcoholic beverages, age Commandaria, and also operate as a warehousing and distribution centre. Its maximum design capacity will be 4,975 tonnes per year. The project also includes an underground wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 50 cubic metres per day and a 600 kW rooftop photovoltaic system, which is expected to cover 40% of the complex’s annual electricity needs.
