China’s Luckin Coffee reaches 30,000 stores worldwide
Chinese coffee chain Luckin Coffee has announced the opening of its 30,000th store worldwide. The milestone store is its flagship location in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, which opened on February 8. Currently, Luckin operates in over 300 cities in China and also has stores internationally in Singapore, Malaysia, and the United States.
The company reached this milestone eight years after its launch in October 2017. Throughout 2025, the network grew by more than 30%, up from 22,300 stores at the end of 2024. The brand’s popularity is driven by affordable yet high-quality drinks and unique offerings such as coffee blended with fruit juices or the traditional Chinese spirit baijiu Moutai.
Luckin is expected to continue expanding both domestically and internationally, strengthening its position among the world’s leading coffee chains.
