Chinese automakers to top global sales for the first time
According to forecasts by Nikkei Asia, Chinese automobile manufacturers are expected to become the world leaders in new car sales in 2025 for the first time, overtaking Japan, which has held the top position for over 20 years. This milestone reflects a 17% increase in Chinese car sales to 27 million units, while Japanese brands are projected to maintain around 25 million.
