The bank confirmed that all potentially compromised cards were immediately blocked and assured clients that stolen funds would be refunded on Monday. Santander is cooperating closely with law enforcement agencies to track down those responsible.
Police have received dozens of complaints nationwide, including over 50 incidents in Poznań and Bydgoszcz. Customers are urged to inspect ATMs before use and to contact the bank’s hotline if they notice any suspicious attachments or unauthorized withdrawals.
