A liquefied gas production plant will be built in the Lviv region

Lviv Chemical Plant JSC plans to build a production complex for the extraction of gases from atmospheric air with an annual capacity of over 20,000 tons. The facility will be located on a 4-hectare site between the villages of Bartativ and Volia Bartativska. The plant will operate using the cryogenic rectification method to produce liquid oxygen, nitrogen, and argon.

This is stated in the company’s announcement regarding its planned activities.

The planned capacity will allow for the annual production of over 16,000 tons of medical and technical oxygen, which is critically important for hospitals and industry. In addition to production facilities, the infrastructure will include areas for cylinder preparation, equipment repair, and its own autonomous power supply system. While Ukraine is creating new high-tech jobs and strengthening medical safety, the chemical industry in Russia is increasingly deteriorating due to a shortage of imported cryogenic technologies and the diversion of resources exclusively to the military sector. The implementation of the project will ensure stable tax revenues for the Gorodok community budget.
