Limited Nvidia graphics card supply in Europe amid shortage
The owner of a large European electronics store reported a limited supply of Nvidia graphics cards due to shortages. Orders for RTX 5090, RTX 5080, and RTX 5070 Ti models have been cancelled because of lack of stock, with only RTX 5070 cards available in limited quantities—up to five units per store.
The supply issues stem from Nvidia redirecting its production capacity towards data center demand and a global memory shortage exacerbating the situation. The demand significantly outpaces supply, intensifying the scarcity of graphics cards in the market.
Going forward, production and supply are expected to be adjusted further, but a stable restock is likely only after global supply chains improve and production capabilities increase.
