New tax services are now available on Diia

The government portal "Diya" now allows users to file their annual declaration of assets and income electronically and to quickly apply for a tax credit. The digital system conveniently pre-fills the user’s necessary personal data automatically, based directly on official information from the State Tax Service.

This was announced by Lesya Karnaukh, Acting Head of the State Tax Service.

To use the updated service, citizens must log in to the portal using an electronic digital signature (EDS), find the relevant service, and select the appropriate option. After the information is automatically verified, the user can enter the amount of expenses for education, mortgage, insurance, medical care, or charity, upload supporting receipts or contracts, specify an account for the refund, and sign the document. According to the agency, more than 57,000 Ukrainians have already filed similar applications this year to claim a refund of a portion of their paid personal income tax, and the new service on “Dii” will be available until the end of the year.
