Posco Group announces recruitment of hundreds of entry-level specialists with focus on AI
Posco Group has announced the recruitment of hundreds of entry-level employees across six affiliated companies and research units. The group is focusing on candidates in artificial intelligence and robotics, seeking to automate operations and develop new business areas, The Korea Herald reports.
About 60 positions
The campaign covers approximately 60 positions in manufacturing, sales, safety and advanced technologies. The recruitment involves the Posco Holdings Future Technology Institute, Posco, Posco International, Posco DX, Posco E&C and the Research Institute of Industrial Science and Technology.
Posco Holdings is seeking researchers specializing in robot perception and control. Posco and Posco DX are recruiting specialists for the AI transformation of manufacturing sites and office operations.

Posco has also created a separate category for artificial intelligence engineers. They are planned to be involved in factory automation and innovation in work processes.
The group has simplified the application procedure: instead of traditional essays, candidates will describe their achievements and experience. Applications are accepted until September 16 on Posco's recruitment website. The company will also hold online and offline events for candidates, including consultations with current employees.
The recruitment is linked to the Triple-Core strategy, which Posco Group presented in July. It provides for reorganizing the group's portfolio around industrial, strategic and energy resources.
