Ukrposhta raised its parcel shipping rates effective April 1
Starting April 1, 2026, the national postal operator "Ukrposhta" has implemented selective rate increases for mail delivery.
This was reported by the company’s press service.
This is the first revision of service costs since 2024, driven by rising operational expenses for fuel, infrastructure maintenance, and network support amid potential blackouts. An additional strain on the company’s budget stems from the consequences of shelling by the Russian Federation, which requires significant funds to restore the vehicle fleet and damaged branches.
The rate changes depend on the format and dimensions of the shipment: for the smallest parcels, the price increase will be 5 UAH, while rates for some priority destinations will remain unchanged. The most noticeable adjustment will affect categories where the current cost significantly lagged behind the actual cost of delivery. The company emphasizes that the price revision is a necessary step to ensure the uninterrupted operation of postal services throughout Ukraine, including frontline areas.
To optimize costs, Ukrposhta encourages customers to use online parcel registration, which saves 5 UAH on each shipment. This approach not only reduces the financial burden on the sender but also significantly shortens the time spent at the post office. Despite the rate updates, the operator continues to perform socially important functions, ensuring the delivery of pensions and essential goods under martial law. Detailed information about the new service rates can be found on the company’s official website.
