JoyNews–Republic Bank Housing Fair Ends in Ghana
The three-day JoyNews–Republic Bank Habitat Fair has concluded at Marina Mall in Accra, Ghana. The event brought together prospective homeowners, real estate investors, builders and other visitors, MyJoyOnline reports.
Housing financing and purchase
The fair ran from September 11 to 13 and brought together financial institutions, developers, construction companies and other participants in Ghana’s housing and property sector. Visitors consulted specialists on mortgage financing, property purchases, construction, interior design, security, renewable energy and other solutions for homeowners.
Mortgage financing was one of the main topics for visitors. Republic Bank Ghana provided information on available financing options for purchasing, building and renovating homes. The National Homeownership Fund (NHF) also informed visitors about affordable housing and financial solutions for individuals and families planning to move from renting to owning their own homes.

Participants in the event included Drive EV GH, Virtual Security Africa, Akwaaba Building Materials, Lesh Fortune Limited, DoorMaster, Ayuda App, Western Vilas, Ctechi Ghana Limited, Velo West Africa and Saint-Gobain Weber Ghana. They presented solutions in mobility, security, construction, interior design, development and energy.
On the final day of the fair, prospective homeowners visited stands, compared products and services, and sought advice on their plans. Visitors thanked the organizers and Republic Bank for the opportunity to obtain expert contacts, information on mortgage options and practical details for acquiring their own homes.
