In Dubai, UAE, the family of Ryan and Caroline Bird rents a four-bedroom townhouse at Hayat Villas in the Town Square community. They pay 150,000 dirhams per year for the home, The National reports.
Moving to Town Square
The family previously lived in The Springs area of Dubai. According to Ryan Bird, they decided to move because of an increase in rent at their previous home and a lack of space for a family with children.
In their new home, the Birds live with their daughter Skyla Luna and son Blaze Maverick, who are both under three years old. The townhouse also has a room for a domestic worker, a private garden and two parking spaces.
Bird believes that the new home offers more space and better infrastructure at a more favorable price. Safety and the residents' community were also important to the family.

Infrastructure and commute to work
According to Bird, Town Square has playgrounds, swimming pools, tennis and padel courts, cycling paths, kindergartens, schools, supermarkets and restaurants. The family particularly likes the gym, swimming pool and padel courts.
Bird noted that the area still has problems with roads and traffic congestion. At the same time, after several roads were widened, the trip to his office in Barsha Heights takes about 24 minutes. He works in the food and beverage division of The First Group.
A separate playroom was arranged in the house for the children, while slides were installed in the garden and toys were left there. The family also plans to buy property in Dubai in the future.
