Seoul to expand night walking tours with new Namsan route
In Seoul, South Korea, city authorities will expand the night walking tour program with a new route along the historic city wall on Namsan. Special tours starting at 21:00 will also be held every Friday. This was reported by Korea Herald, citing the Seoul government.
Namsan route
The new 2.06-kilometer route on Namsan is designed to take approximately one hour. Tours on this route will be held twice a day, at 18:00 and 20:00.
The route starts near the entrance to the Namsan Sky Forest Trail. It passes observation decks and a wellness garden, the N Seoul Tower and the Locks of Love site, and ends at the Palgakjeong Pavilion.

Updated schedule
The night tour season will be extended: instead of running from May to October, it will last from mid-March to mid-November. The final daily tour will begin at 20:00 rather than 19:00, as before.
Special tours at 21:00 every Friday will be held at Gwanghwamun Square, along Cheonggyecheon Stream and near the Naksan city wall. Participants will be accompanied by cultural tourism guides, who will explain the historical and cultural significance of the locations.
Seoul authorities are also changing several existing routes to direct visitors to nearby commercial areas after the tours. Along with the Namsan route, the city offers 10 night walking tour programs. Reservations must be made at least three days before the tour through the Seoul Guided Walking Tour website.
