Busan to launch five-day program for K-culture fans
A five-day K-Culture Experience Village program for foreign visitors will be launched in Busan, South Korea. It will combine Korean language classes, K-culture workshops and local tours. The program is organized by K-Bridge International at the Busan Arpina complex in the Haeundae district, Korea Herald reports.
Two sessions in autumn
The first session is scheduled for October 19–23 for 50 participants, and the second for November 16–20 for 60 participants. The initiative is supported by the Korea Tourism Organization and the Busan city government.
The four-night, five-day program costs $550. It includes accommodation, meals, Korean language classes, K-beauty and K-food workshops, K-pop dance classes and tours of Busan. Activities will include a yacht ride and a coastal route.

Organizers’ plans
K-Bridge International founder Kim Ki-hoon said the project is intended to give guests an opportunity not only to see tourist attractions but also to become acquainted with everyday life and Korean culture. Overseas influencers in K-culture and travel will be involved in the first session. They were selected based on their engagement with young fans of the “Korean Wave,” and the content they publish is expected to help attract participants for future programs.
For the second session, the organizers plan to invite a broader range of interested people, participants recommended by institutions and foreign residents. According to the organizers, the strongest initial interest came from Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore.
Starting next year, K-Bridge International plans to expand the format to programs lasting from one to four weeks. Participants will study Korean in the mornings and take K-pop dance or K-beauty classes in the afternoons; weekends are planned to be devoted to trips around Busan and South Gyeongsang Province. The organizers expect participants to return to Korea to study the language or pursue education.
