A Ukrainian delegation has arrived in the United States for talks with the Trump team
The Ukrainian negotiating team has arrived in Florida to hold bilateral consultations with their American partners.
This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine, citing sources close to the delegation.
The talks are expected to begin this afternoon—approximately at 4:00 p.m. Kyiv time.
According to preliminary information, the American side will be represented by key figures from U.S. President Donald Trump’s inner circle, including White House Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
It is noted that the talks will take place exclusively in a bilateral format. No participation by Russian representatives in these consultations is planned.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has already stated that the trilateral negotiation process between Ukraine, the U.S., and Russia is currently on hold. According to him, consultations are temporarily suspended.
The Kremlin bluntly rejected France’s proposal to involve the EU in the peace talks.
The process of U.S. mediation in resolving the war between Russia and Ukraine is under threat due to Donald Trump’s loss of interest in the negotiations and the escalation of the situation in the Middle East.
