The Presidential Office called Poroshenko's statements about pressure on the court "emotional grandstanding"

The Office of the President stated that Petro Poroshenko’s claims regarding alleged pressure on the court in the sanctions case are unfounded.

This was reported by Iryna Mudra, Deputy Head of the Office of the President.

According to her, such statements appear to be “emotional agitation” ahead of the court hearing and may be an attempt to influence the decision through public pressure.

Mudra emphasized that the principle of judicial independence applies in Ukraine, and no official has the authority to influence court proceedings.

She also noted that the role of the Office of the President is limited to formulating the state’s legal position, which is standard practice in democratic countries.

At the same time, the Office of the President believes that it is precisely public statements by politicians that can create risks of pressure on the court and undermine confidence in the judicial process.

Former President and Member of Parliament of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko submitted his electronic declaration for 2025. He listed a significant gift for his wife, Marina.

Petro Poroshenko called on the Ukrainian authorities to immediately halt the transit of Russian oil to Hungary via the Druzhba pipeline, as this provides the Russian Federation with financial resources to wage war, and this is also what Trump is demanding.
