A 13-year-old Ukrainian has joined the Real Madrid academy
Ukrainian soccer player Samuel Osipovich has joined the Real Madrid academy. A product of the “Progress Sofiivskyi” Youth Soccer Club, he will play for the “Royal Club’s” U-14 team.
Samuel Osipovich was born in 2013 and trained at the “Progress Sofiivskyi” Youth Football Club in the Kyiv region. Now the young soccer player will continue his development at the academy of one of the most successful clubs in the world.

Osipovich’s first club announced the transfer on its Instagram page.
The youth academy emphasized that, for them, this move is the result of the long-term efforts of the player himself, his family, and his coaches.
“This is the result of talent, daily hard work, perseverance, self-belief, and family support,” reads Progress’s statement.
A new stage in the young soccer player’s career
Osipovich will now have the opportunity to develop within Real Madrid’s system and train using the club’s academy methodology.
Progress wished their player success in Madrid and encouraged him to keep working hard, dreaming big, and enjoying soccer.
“May this new stage mark the beginning of a great soccer journey,” Osipovich’s former club wished him.
At the same time, the youth football club separately thanked all the coaches who worked with the player as he developed, as well as the Armed Forces of Ukraine for making it possible to develop Ukrainian soccer even amid a full-scale war.
