Young Ukrainian soccer player Samuel Osipovich will continue his career at Real Madrid’s academy. The talented player, born in 2013, signed a contract with the Spanish club and joined its renowned academy, “La Fabrica.” Osipovich is a product of the Kyiv youth sports school “Progress Sofiivskyi.” A few years ago, he moved to Spain, where he began developing his skills with local soccer teams. Initially, the Ukrainian played for the club “Nuevo Boadilla,” based in the suburbs of Madrid. It was there that he continued his soccer training after moving to Spain.
His next stop was “Leganés.” Osipovich joined this club in the summer of 2025. There, he had the opportunity to play at a higher level and caught the attention of scouts from Madrid’s “Real Madrid.” Now a new chapter is beginning for the young soccer player. Osipovich will join Real Madrid’s U-14 team, where he will train alongside other promising players his age.
“La Fábrica” and the Path to the First Team
Real Madrid’s academy is known as “La Fabrica.” Many players who went on to play for the Madrid club’s first team or other well-known European teams came through its system. The academy works with players of all ages. In addition to technical training, young players gradually become accustomed to the demands of professional soccer, teamwork, and intense competition.
Getting into “La Fábrica” does not automatically guarantee a spot on the first team. At this stage, the most important thing for Osipovich is to continue improving, gain playing experience, and advance through the academy’s ranks. At the same time, simply joining the system of such a club is a significant milestone in a young soccer player’s career. “Real Madrid” has one of the most renowned soccer academies in the world and is constantly working with young talent.
Who Else from Ukraine Is at Real Madrid?
Samuel Osipovich has become yet another Ukrainian to join Real Madrid’s ranks. Andriy Lunin continues to play for the club’s first team. The Ukrainian goalkeeper is part of Real Madrid’s starting lineup and has been defending the colors of one of Europe’s most successful clubs for several seasons now. Another Ukrainian goalkeeper, Illia Voloshyn, also plays for Real Madrid’s youth system. He plays for the Madrid club’s third team.

Now he faces the challenge of progressing from the youth team to the next levels of the academy and trying to secure a spot in Real Madrid’s system. For the 13-year-old soccer player, this is just the beginning of a new phase. Ahead of him lie training sessions, matches, and competition with other promising players.
