Borussia Dortmund beat Paderborn to claim third Bundesliga win
In Germany, Borussia Dortmund defeated Paderborn 3-0 at home in the third round of the Bundesliga. The team secured its third win in its first three league matches and reached nine points, Anadolu Agency reports.
Goals from Silva and Nmecha
The hosts opened the scoring as early as the fifth minute. Fabio Silva finished off a quick attack with a right-footed shot from the centre of the penalty area after a pass from Serhou Guirassy.
Dortmund retained their narrow lead until halftime. Late in the match, in the 80th minute, Felix Nmecha scored after a pass from Maximilian Beier. Nine minutes later, he completed his brace with an overhead kick following a cross from Marcel Sabitzer to set the final score.

Standings positions
After three rounds, Borussia are second in the standings, behind Freiburg only on goal difference. Freiburg beat Borussia Mönchengladbach 5-0 in their match and moved to the top of the table.
Paderborn have one point and have not yet scored in the current league season. In other Saturday matches, Augsburg drew 2-2 with Bayer, Hoffenheim beat Stuttgart 2-1, while Eintracht Frankfurt won 3-1 away to Mainz thanks to two goals from Can Uzun.
